SALADS - MY FAVORITE SALAD

 
There is a list of ingredients which I have added to this salad before,

Button mushrooms, sliced
Toasted walnuts/pecans/almond slices
Boiled eggs, cut into wedges
Bacon slices, fried and crumbled
Steamed green beans, cut into 1-inch lengths
Tomato slices
Gorgonzola cheese or other cheeses
Cooked shrimps
Ham chunks

SALAD

12 Romain lettuce leaves, washed, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 large carrot, peeled, shredded on the large hole of the box grater
1 red bell pepper, cut into ¼-inch strips
1 large orange, peeled, supremed
¼ cup dried cranberries

DRESSING

2 oz vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/2 –1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and black pepper
Toasted sesame seeds

Put this all in a jar, close the lid tight and shake until the dressing is blended well or use an immersion blender.
